I know I am getting behind on pictures when my sister is telling me that her blog is up to date and that I am behind, so I figured I better get my buns in gear and get this caught up again for the week.

Well I wanted to post some pictures of our weekend fishing on the Missouri River. We fished for all sorts of fish, and the one above here is a paddle fish that Lane caught and tagged. Lea also caught one, but chose to release it back into the water. It was a fun weekend, I ended up catching a Sauger fish which is a close relative of the Walleye. Suppose to be really good eatin, too bad I'm not so crazy for fish. Bob caught a ton of fish too. He even tried paddlefishing. You have to just be plain lucky to catch a paddlefish. No bait involved, just hooks and your pole casting into the water, hoping to stick the hook into the side of the fish, and then reel it in. Call it what you want, but I think its just plain lucky!!! So no paddlefish for Bob this year (maybe next year), but we did catch some stone catfish, golden eye, shiner, and the sauger. Anyhow, it was fun, and we got to take our sweet camper for its first outing.

So now for my next topic. Tulips! Is there anyone out there who understands Tulips? Check out this tulip that was in our front yard. Its yellow but has red on it. How the heck does that happen? Do they breed, mate, or whatever the heck you wanna call it???? I am curious????

Wheeewwfffffffttttaaaaa. . . . . Wasnt sure if I would ever get my blog caught up. Man I keep telling myself that I cant let it get that far behind. The good thing is that I have been good at keeping up on taking the photos, the hard part for me is posting them. Usually after a typical day of all the hoopla of driving, work, driving, the dinner thing, clean up, and then before I know it, its already time for bed. Or at least the body is telling me that its had enough for one day. So today I was off, I did Grams hair yesterday for Mothers Day, so I was off today! Its nice to get caught back up on some things. Bob is currently working Midnight shifts, which comes around way to often, but I guess . So yesterday for Mothers Day I went to Lewistown with my folks, got Grams hair all done up, then the whole fam went out for dinner at the Black Diamond in Belt. Great food!

The last picture is a purse that I recently made. Right now I am in the process of setting up an etsy account and going to start listing things I've made- sewing and scrapbooking items. I will make sure and post a link once its up and running. Lately I have been a sewing girl! I made all new curtains for our camper (since the 70's ones were a little on the bright green side), purses, collar for Jager, and not sure what else off hand. I think we almost have the camper all ready, and hopefully we are off in it this weekend. Cant wait!!!!

The top photos are of my hubby cutting into his keg that someone gave him for brewing. So he is making this keg into a boiling pot for his brew. Its been a process for days now, and he has been sanding on that keg and its getting really shiny.

Finally all the signs of spring are coming around. Daffodils and new baby colts. Arent they so cute. I wish I could of gotten closer, but I guess that would make a good photo of the day another day. I love this time of year.

I cant believe that we are already into May. Crazyness!!! I am sure it will be gone before we know it!! I am really looking forward to warmer weather. I have an "in" with the weather guy, so I am making sure that we get some nicer weather. I hope it works! Got the branding done for another year! Dad is always happy when thats done. We also turned the bull in the same day.

Ohhh in other news, Lyla got an official first haircut. Jenn took pictures while I was cutting, they are on their blog here. I have been doing practice haircuts on her for some time now. It really helped, she isnt scared at all, and loves for Aunt Me Me to cut her hair. We "pretent cut" her hair a couple times a week. I took this one of her before we started! What a cutie!

Well we recently got ourselves a used camper. Its a 71 Bell. Almost vintage. . . ha ha. Everything works in it and it was just what we were looking for. Cant wait to be able to go camping alot this summer. But the day after we got the camper we got ourselves a doozy of a snow storm. I think Bob said we ended up getting like 25 inches of snow. Yikes. . .when will summer get here. I hope soon because we want to go camping!!!

We have some new additions in our salt water fish tank. Meet our new red hermit crab. Also we got a new purple and yellow royal gramma fish thats really cool colored, and a yellow watchman goby, an emerald crab, and an anemone. All that need names. We already have a clownfish named Nemo. Original. . . right!

Am I crazy since I think that all fish need to have names, any ideas for our new members???

Today Lyla got to hold her cousin Brody. She is practicing up since she is going to be a big sister in August! So Auntie Deb held them all, so we could take a cute picture of the little buggers. . . . and mind you, I was doin Poor Auntie Debs hair at the time, so she had to be included on the blog. Also Lyla was entertainment while she put "chin stick" on everyone including Aunt MeMe. I think she likes to put it everywhere since its grape. Well Jager Jager Jager! Our dog is a crazy nut. Today she got ran over, but not bad. She went for a trip out to the barn to run with Jenns two dogs, and she fell down in front of the pickup and went right under the front bumper of the pickup and needless to say it was muddy! So tonight I had to take pictures of her all muddy and limping on her sore leg. She is quite the dog . . . so now its in the tub for her! Should be interesting since Bob is working late shifts tonight and its just me and Jager!

Jager is hard to keep low key. She is not good at takin it easy! She just loves playin outside. So we have to limit her time until she heels up. I sewed this purse for myself a little while ago and I just love it. I have been getting a ton of compliments on it. Also these past couple of days the snow has been fallin. . . so I had to take some more photos on my daily drives to work.

I am pretty sure our vet just loves us. Jager cut her leg on something in the junk pile, so off to the vet. I think she likes monthly visits to Dr. Helms. It was completely thru, so they put her under anesthesia stitched her up with internal stitches and then glued the top layer shut. Good golly miss molly!

Well the first two are the last photos of the trip in Boise. Then back home to Great Falls to sleep, get up, and off to Stanford for Prom! Busy Busy day, and they all looked beautiful! Then stayed the night and up the next day to help rip off siding of the Stanford house, so it can get a face lift. Bob also worked on it all day Saturday while I did hair. Then the both of us worked on it on Sunday. Big Bear Builders (aka Jen & Lea & Lyla and also dad and cousin Adam) have been working daily on the house getting it all ripped apart and looking much better already.

These picts were taken on our trip to Boise. Bob had a work conference there. So on our way we dropped off Jager with my cousins and also got to have lunch with the fam at Olive Garden. My cousins let us borrow their GPS- which I renamed to Hazel, and she rocked. She made the trip awesome. It was so so easy. Just type in the address, and turn by turn directions to the scrap stores. It was great!

The "Luau" was our winning table decoration for a scrapbooking themed retreat I attended about 3 weeks ago. Very cool that we won first place for best decorated table. It was a really great time! Also..... the other photos are my hubby in the garage drilling something, and one with his new smoker. Also one night, I decided to make a coupon book, with many pages organized by different category's so I could keep our coupon more easily organized. It turned out great.

This handy dandy radio goes everywhere with me. Well I guess just the middle part. It goes in the car with me, then into the salon, and back home with me, and into its little home radio here in the scrapbookin room/office. I am such a "tunes" girl. I love love my music, and my style always seems to be changing, I love all types. . . .all but maybe rap. "Rap Crap" as my dad calls it. Satellite radio is so convenient, it comes in all the time, anywhere, no switching stations while travelin, always dependable, and not having to listen to all the ads on regular radio. Cant beat that. Music is a definete in my daily routine, whether its while cutting hair, driving, scrapbooking, and everything else that keeps me busy.

Bob made pulled pork tonight, and it was "too die for" good. He is so good in the kitchen! I am so lucky, but anyways. . . . . . While he poured himself a beer for dinner he informed me that we had a bottle of Lambic beer. Mmmmmm... my favorite. It is a raspberry flavored beer. And it is so good! So I had to have a glass with dinner. I cant wait until the batch is ready that he is brewing for me. It takes 6 whole months to ferment. Its Too long! But it will be worth the wait, when we have it on tap at the bar in the man cave. MMMMmmmm. . . . Cant wait!

Today I am off since I have a few appointments this afternoon. So this morning I have been sewing. I made an apron for me. I seem to be on an apron kick. I made a two a couple of months ago, and decided to make a smaller/shorter one. The other ones I made were from the neck down, so I decided to make this short cute one. I was wanting ruffles around the edge and thought about starching and ironing the fabric to get the look. Then I was informed that there is an attachment called a ruffler foot that you put on your machine, and then you just sew straight and it does all the work for you, and let me tell you what, this is soo dang cool! Easy as Pie!!!!

Well those "Meteorologists" are saying that there is a storm headed our way! And from the looks of things on my way home tonight, it looks as if they are right. Poor Bob, I always give hime so much shit, but let me tell you, if he tells me its gonna storm, it always does! It reassuring for me up and down the road everyday, to have an Acurate forecast. I just have to share this tidbit. If I happen to be listening to the local radio stations and the weather comes on: I always listen careful to see if it lines up with what my hubby tells me, and half the time it doesnt. I'd like to know where they get there forecasts. Geez.... I could put money on it that they dont even have a degree in Meterology!!!

Today on the way home, I did my usual stop and let Jager run 2 more miles for the day. She has been averaging about 4 + miles a day. Silly dog loves to run, and plus it tires her out and then she snoozes. When driving down our little gravel road that she runs on, I just happened to look in my mirror and was checking out the sunset and figured what the heck, this would be a good photo for today!

Today Bob and I got a wild hair to head to Helena for the day. I wanted to check out some new scrapbooking stuff while Bob wanted to check out the local Breweries. I scored some great stuff and cant wait until our trip to do a ton of scrapping. Bob was pleased with the breweries and we ended up eating at the Lewis & Clark Brewery, which by the way has some fabulous food. I ate the Prime Rib and it was great. Sir Scotts Oasis in Manhattan, MT is still #1 on my list for a Top Prime Rib- I guarantee it will be the best you will ever have and I know those who have ate there that will vouch for it too! But the food in Helena was excellent. Glad we made the trip, it was great to skip town for the afternoon.

Dottie, a good friend of mine, came down last night for the weekend to watch her hometown Winnett Rams in Divisional Basketball. They won last night so tonight they were in the Championship game against Rocky Boy Morning Stars. So somehow, they convinced me to dress up and cheer with them. I know that if Stanford would of been playing, Dottie would of dressed up for me. So I guess that its only fair. Winnett ended up getting 2nd in the Division, which is awesome and will be heading to the State Tournament in Billings in 2 weeks. Go Rams Go!!!

Today is my Brother inlaws Birthday. Happy Birthday Lea!!! The frost was so neat looking today when I got to Stanford so I had to take a pict and share. Then off to have lunch with the Bday boy. And while we were waiting for our food I was teaching Lyla how to say "old fart". . . . since Lea is older than me (but only by a few months). She thought that was pretty funny. I think Lyla might be a photographer when she is older. She thinks my camera is the coolest. It makes my sister nervous when Lyla is packing it around saying "sheese" as she is taking pictures with my nice camera. I'm never worried though, I think she will make a good photographer! I think that her and I are two peas in a pod!!!!

Bob and I recently watched Fireproof. It was a good movie-the acting wasnt the greatest, but the story line was awesome. It was about a couple having problems in there marriage and either of which wanted to make it work. So the father suggested to his son to do the love dare. Its 40 days of hard dedication to your marriage. All things that are needed daily to make a marriage stand the test of time. Thru time the couple worked things out and realized the true meaning to love someone unconditionally. I found this and it tells what the movie is about:

At work, Capt. Caleb Holt lives by the firefighter's adage: Never leave your partner behind. But he follows his own rules at home. After seven years, he and his wife have drifted so far apart that Catherine wishes she had never married. So after watching this I did a little research and found that the book is great also for happily married couples, newleyweds, etc. So I went out to Barnes & Noble and bought it and Bob and I are reading it. In my life I have seen so many people staying in a relationship that are misserable, and why?? Why not fix your marriage and make it better? I just cant imaging living like that. Bob and I have always appreciated the things we do for each other, and we dont take our love for granted. We both know that we do most of things in this book, but we also want to make sure that our relationship never gets to those rocky points. Here is what I found online about this book:

Yesterday I did my grams hair on our way to Winnett, so today I am taking advantage of a day off and getting some house cleaning done. I shampoo'd carpets in our living room, loads of laundry, vaccumed entire house, dishes, cleaned bathrooms, etc. It amazing how good it feels to have everthing spic & span again.

Today was a hard day. This morning Bob and I got on the road to Winnett to attend Dotties dads funeral. Bill was a great guy that everyone loved in the Winnett & surrounding communities. He was always full of stories and always had a good laugh to share. The funeral was held in the Winnett gym and it was full! You could tell that Bill touched so many peoples lives and he will be greatly missed. Dottie had put together an amazing slideshow of her dad, and it was a real tear jerker. It really captured his life and shared many memories with everybody, to say the least, it was amazing. I cant imagine losing a parent right now, and I really feel for their family now and all the pain that they are going through.

Bob was a brewing man today. He is brewing an IPA (India Pale Ale) which is one of his favorites. And I am not getting a whole lot accomplished, but o well. I guess there is days like that. But this evening we are heading out with some friends to a fundraiser for her job. Its goin to be dinner and a play from a local theater group. I enjoy acting myself and love watching plays, so I am excited. Hopefully we can all go out later for drinks.

Well Happy Valentines Day!!! I know. . . . I know. . . . . I know. I am a week late. But since Bob was on Mids we both decided to wait a week till today. And I am glad we did. Let me tell you a little about this guy, he is so so swweeeeett. Spoils me rotten always. He loaded me up on Griz attire- lounge pants and a long sleeve T (I am always cold) also a light weight Columbia jacket, and chocolate! Loooovvvveeeeee this guy!! The pictures are of the album that I made for him with tags with sweet stuff for him. I also loaded him up with Reeses PButter cups (one of his fav) and a new Fender guitar stool for him to serenade me. Ha ha. We enjoyed prime rib at Jakers tonight-one of our favorite restaurants here in town. Mmmmmm. . . . . . And then home to enjoy a movie together. Definitely a perfect Valentines day in my book.

Bob is just getting off his 7 in a row midnight shifts this a.m. He worked from 11 last night till 7 this morning and now is sleeping till around noon-ish and then up for the day to try to come out off these shifts. I always feel so bad for him trying to get re-adjusted. But I will tell you that I am so glad to have him back at night, sleeping without him at night just isnt the same. Its too quiet without the snoring and no one to remind me of my sleep talking!

Stanford . . . . . . . . so many words to describe our little hometown. Some good and some bad, but you will have that everywhere I suppose. This little town of around 500 population is a Class C school located in the middle of Montana. This is where I was raised, educated, established friendships, and grew into the person who I am today. This road has not been easy. It has had sorrow and heartaches, but yet many good memories filled with laughter and love. I remember the day I graduated in 99 with my class of 15 students and so glad to be on my way out of town heading for new adventure. But one thing I remember my dad saying is "never say never". With that referring to "I am never moving back here". Well if I knew what laid ahead for me I guess I should of never said it. Years later, after the education and time on my own I found myself moving back, buying a home and opening a business. Wowza. . . . but everything happens for a reason and all the steps had to fall in that order for me to find myself and to find the man of my dreams. All here in Stanford Montana!

Tonight I got word from my great friend Dottie that her dear Dad had passed away. My heart is breaking for her. They hadn't even made it back from Utah from her Grandmothers funeral when they got word that her dad was gone. He had pancreatic cancer and it took him quickly. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers as I know the road ahead will be hard.

So its Thursday night. . . . . . and I have something to admit to you all. I have a serious addiction and the major problem is: I don't think that there is any cure out there for what I have. Ok ok ok, I know I need to share. I have greysanatomy-itis. I am hooked! Its the really the one thing that I look forward in every week. Ahhh..... I just love this show. If your not currently a watcher of this, you need to be!!!! As you can tell from the pict, I have all seasons, and season 4 courtesy of Lindsey. I got her also addicted to this. It started when she was laid up from knee surgery and I loaned her my 3 seasons. Then she was hooked and went out and got season 4 and then out of the goodness of her heart she gave me season 4 for my collection! Thanks so much!!! Its such a great show (I think Bob is even hooked, but I'm pretty sure he wouldnt admit it to the "manly men"). Is anyone else out there secretly loving "McDreamy or McSteamy"?????????

Happy Birthday to Miss Lyla!!! Today she turns 2 years old. Oh how these last two years have flown by. Seems like she was just born. And now she is running constantly, never missing a beat and she is really chatting up a storm. I think she changes daily! So today Uncle Bub and Uncle MeMe are headed up to spend the afternoon and evening with sweet little Lyla. Gotta go and have some cake and ice cream with her. They are having an actual B-day party for her on Saturday with her cousins and friends. So I will post pictures.

Well here is a picture of Jager today. I am sure by the end of this you will be all sick and tired of looking at Jager and I am sure that she will also be fed up with me taking photos of her. Oh well. . . . . . for now she is our kid until the time comes. Its amazing how attached you get to your pets. They truly become one of the family. We will be heading out of town in a month for a conference/workshop in Idaho and it will be so hard to leave her behind for a week. I am sure it will be harder on me than it will be her. I guess I have to tell myself "she is only a dog", but still she is my puppy dog. :) Today I made her sit and wait while I took her pict on the road that she runs on daily. Right now she is running about 2 or more miles per day and loves every minute of it. Its so amazing how fast she can run for still being a pup.

Time. . . . . It controls every little bit of all of us. Have to be here by then, leave in 5 minutes, appointment at 11 am, time for dinner, time for this, time for that, time time time time . . . . I know that we all wish we had more time for certain things. The clock just seems to just fly by on certain days and other days not. I just wish there was an easy way to manage our time more wisely. I wish that there was an easy solution, but I dont think that there is. Simply because we all have lives, jobs, spouses, kids, etc. And those things require our time.

But on one note, I am glad that over these past 4 plus years that I have always made the time for my gram. Yesterday I got a phone call from my sister that my gram had been taken to the hospital. She was not responding normally, and having a very ruff time, so they took her in to get checked out. Later my dad called to say that everything checked out ok, and she would be heading back to her assisted living home. Scary scary. . .but glad all is well. I am on my way to Lewistown to do her hair for her, which always makes a her feel better.

Today Bob is working evening shifts till 1o pm, so the house is quiet tonight since it is just me and the puppy dog. It has been a pretty non productive day, I napped for a while, computer time, thought about scrapbooking (never got anything done), played with Jager, and a few little things that needed done around the house. Jager was good today so I took her to DQ for a little treat. She got her very own icecream cone. So I just had to snap some pictures of her since I didnt have anything else to share today. Also I think I am getting sick. I have been congested, very tired, glands are swollen, and feel like a sore throat is comin on. Hopefully the nap today will help and tomorrow I will wake up a new person. I hope . . . . . .

I think we all have routines that we do every morning. Some people are exactly the same (my husband) and some are very random (me). Its just the way our brains are programmed I guess. It justs makes us who we are and how we work. So today as I was getting ready for the day, I was fixing my hair and realize that hairspray is usually always a part of my day, whether its at home getting ready for the day or at work while working on my clients hair. I dont think it always works like the name- however I would like to make everybody sexy! But I guess . . . . . . . . . . "I am a beautican not a magician".

Today I was off, and was so nice to get some house work done and the never ending laundry. It just feels good to get everything back in order. Today I recieved my Creating Keepsakes magazine in the mail and on the cover is one of my fav's - Becky Higgins. I blogged about her a while ago, because I just love her sketches. I threw this together the other day for our entryway as you come in our front door. I got the silks at Michaels & the sign at Real Deals. I just like something by our door it just makes it so much more home-e-er. (i know thats not a word but o well). I thought the reds would be great since Valentines day is just around the corner. Today has came and almost gone in just the blink of an eye. I was super busy at work today, not even time for lunch, and then back home already. Ate supper with my hubby-which we ate gourmet tonight- mac n cheese & hotdogs. Posting this and now off to bed to do it all over again tomorrow.

Wow how the time is flying by. . . . I cant believe we are already into February. Today I am sharing a photo of my scrap space. It is so nice to have a place to be able to scrap whenever you want. Bob and I re-did this room ourselves. It was originally his office/guitar room before me, but now its "our" office and my scrap room. We laid the laminate wood flooring down and painted (it needed it bad- it was bright blue with a huge gold sun on the wall) and we put in the counter tops and cupboards too. It turned out great. I am happy with the results. Tonight my friend Lindsey is coming over to scrap with me. I cant wait. It will be a blast.

Well today we headed off to Lewistown to do Grams hair. Bob had today off so he went too. Gram was having one of those not so good days. Its so hard to see her like that. She was really confused and I think she has a real hard time with dreams. She thinks that they really happen and gets so confused about them and has a hard time jumping back into whats really goin on. But on a better note, we took a drive to the Mtns. so Bob could get some fresh Spring water for brewing his beer. He has plans to brew a Maibock tomorrow since he is off then too. So while we were in the mtns I took a picture of where we where getting water and also a photo of a snow roller. Looks kinda like a life saver. I was surprised that there wasnt much snow in the woods.

How was everybodys superbowl? Ours was great. We had friends over for a superbowl party. Most of us were rooting for the Cardinals and a few for the Steelers. Glad the game got interesting towards the end because it made it more fun as we were rooting against each other. I enjoy having people over, gives us a chance to visit, but also gives me a reason to bake fun stuff too. I made a few new dips, and even some sweet treats. Jager even enjoyed the game. She had her 3D glasses on to watch at the end of the second quarter. The grocery store was handing these out today and had I known that everybody thought these were so cool, I would of got more. I thought 8 would be plenty but I should of got about 8 more. Oops. Hopefully my team will do something next year. Go Chiefs!

Lately Real Deals is my favorite store of all. In fact its so cool! Its only open 2 days a week - Thursdays and Saturdays. I just cant get enough of this store. Their home decor stuff just rocks. It is just an inspiring store to shop in. I am so glad that I heard about this . . . . . .and if you havent heard about it, you better find a store in your area with one, because it is a must!

Tonight we took a drive out of town so we could let Jager run! Seems like lately she just needs to run and run and run. Today was the usual. The drive to work and home again and it seems to be getting old, hopefully I wont have to drive it forever. But on a good note: My tanning bed had been out of commission for the last month and I had no clue what was wrong with it, so my great dad came to the rescue today and got it all fixed up and running. What a relief! Its still fairly new, maybe had it for only a little over 2 years. So I am glad it was something easy, it could of been real bad. Well I took this photo tonight on our way back home from our drive. I love sunsets and this one was really cool. Picture doesn't do it justice.

Today after work, before heading home to G Falls, I just had to stop in and see little Miss Lyla! She is always so excited to see "Uncle MeMe" and was asking where Uncle Bub was but he was working. So I had to love on her for awhile and play a few games of hide and seek. Pam and Addie stopped in too, so I was taking pictures of Ad and Lyla. Let me tell you what, this little girl is so loved! Its amazing how much happiness and joy these little tykes bring you. (But not yet. . . . I know what you all are thinking!) We are perfectly happy right now with our little Jager. The time will come, but for now we are just enjoying it being us -the newlywed couple!

Today was such a long day! I am a day behind this week, Bob had yesterday off so we got to spend time together. So I went to Lewistown today to do Grams hair, then back to Stanford to work, and then home. So today was filled with lots of time (like 4 1/2 hrs.) in the car and the rest of the day standing on my feet doing hair. So tonight I had to get in my comfy clothes and take a load off while sitting in my bed with my computer posting this. This picture is taken from Stanford looking at the Mtns- Baldy is in the background. I waited too long to take this photo, I should of taken it a little earlier when the colors were brighter, but oh well. . . . I got a photo for today!

My husband is so amazing, and everyday I am so thankful that I have him in my life! Today he bought me something very special, something I use daily! I will post about it in a couple of days! I need to get a photo of it first. He royally spoils me. . .usually on a daily basis. Including cooking for me all the time. A few days ago he made pulled pork and oh man. . . . I cant even begin to tell you how good it was. And then the very next night he made the beer can chicken. It was so moist and ohhhh sooo good. Well just wanted to share with you all how spoiled I am and I am hoping that all your spouses spoil you just as much! (and if not. . . .Bob needs to give them some pointers!!!)

Today we were invited by a couple that we recently met to join them in their home for a game night! It was so dang much fun. Great food, great people, great belly laughs, and just a great time! I am so glad they invited us. We have all decided to do a monthly game night with all of us taking turn hosting! Tonight we had a great surprise from some friends who stopped by. So we all ended up going out tonight for dinner at Chili's. It was real good food and always great to be among great friends who just make you happy! Today I also got to be in my scraproom. I almost have my layout finished. Its a wedding layout that I am working on, and I am sending it off to hopefully be published! I am gonna keep my fingers crossed! I will post it when I can (rules about not posting it, it has to be "never before seen" blah blah blah).

Well tonight was a ball! The Margarita Meltdown was fun. Bob wore his shorts, fish shirt, and flip flops and I wore a fun brown shirt, jeans, & strappy sandals! Brr... and let me tell you what it was cold. The high today was -1 below, not to mention how cold it must of been by the time we went plus the wind chill. It was worth it though. We were the first to arrive so we saved a table for everybody and got drinks. They actually had sand and the whole deal! It was a tropical paradise out here in Montana.

Today my cousin Heidi came from Bozeman to meet with some patients of hers and made time with me to do her hair. We usually do her hair at my Salon in Stanford, but it was closer for her to do it in Great Falls. So we made the kitchen counter work as my "salon sink". Its a good thing she is so flexible and in good shape. That would of killed me! She left with a super cute haircut and looking much blonder!

A while back I took a photo of my grams hands. Well today I was thinking it would be nice to have a photo of Bob and my hands together. Its nothing special, but its a picture! It would be cool several years down the road to update this hand picture (like at special anniversary's as we age together). Not that I want to see how my hands age, but it will be something to cherish as our love grows together. I am truly blessed and fortunate to have found him! For those of you who don't know our story here it is:

I had moved back to my home town- Stanford, MT and opened up my own hair salon. I never had a whole lot of time for other things, because I was so involved in my business. Plus Stanford is small, like 500 people. Yah.... I know, really small. Which also means not a lot of choices in the men department. So one day my little sis asked me if I'd ever thought about trying an online dating thing, like match.com or something. And my response was "are you crazy, there are some really crazy people on there". She went on to tell me that she was sure it was a great way to meet people, because there are other people out there who might be also in a small town, shy, tired of the bar scene, not sure how else to meet people, etc. So she basically said what do you have to loose. Mind you, I was not really looking. But figured ok Jen, what the heck. So online to Match.com I went. I was very lucky, and wasn't on there long, when Bob emailed me. We exchanged several emails, before deciding to talk on the phone. We talked for several weeks before we decided to meet. I was coming into Great Falls for a Bunko night, and it worked that we could meet up afterwards for drinks. So I guess the rest is history. LOL We met in April 2007, engaged by Sept 2007 (5 months later), and married in June of 2008. Now I guess we are just an ol' newlywed couple. I am looking forward to what our future holds together, and I am truly blessed to have an amazing husband!

Wow its after midnight so I guess this counts for today, Sunday! I cant believe I am still up scrapping. At least I can sleep in tomorrow. Bob has the day off and Monday also, so hopefully we will get to do something fun! I haven't created a layout on "Me" ever, so I figure I would use the photo from the other day of me to create a fun layout! It seems like a was in a rut for a while and wasn't scrapping, well now I think I got my groove back! Glad I finally found it- I was really missing being in my scrap room! I just love it in here.

This afternoon I was in my scraproom sewing a new purse. My old one was in bad need of being replaced. I even made pockets on the inside for little things-like my cell phone, and another one for chapsticks, gum, etc. I am very happy with how it turned out. When I was at the fabric store getting fabric for this one, I had a lady in line asking me what I was making with the fabric and I told her a purse. She went on to tell me how much she liked my purse that I had with me and told me I should sell them at the farmers market. Wow. . . . I had no idea that people would think that these are worthy of selling. She makes sterling silver jewelry and sells it at the market. Well I'm not sure if I would have time, but it was a nice compliment!

{16 - Lambic}

Bob is brewing a Raspberry Lambic beer for me. Mmmmmm. . . . . I am so excited for this to be finished, but not for another 6 months. It has to ferment for that long for the sugar in the fruit to be converted into alcohol. Plus it will give it the flavor and color. So I guess in July or August I will be in seventh heaven.

Well if you havent seen this, its a must. Especially if you have pets! Bob and I went to the movie tonight, and really enjoyed this. I would highly recommend it. Best movie I have seen in a while. Which isnt saying alot, since I am not a big TV watcher, but...... Its GOOD!

I cant even tell you how happy I am today! I got to upgrade my POS (piece of ....you now what). The wait at Verizon wasn't even bad. Which is a shocker. I don't know about all of you, but I would say a majority would say that their phone is with them 24-7. I think cell phones have came so far. Its great that they are so portable, follow you everywhere, receive calls just about anywhere, and ignore the ones you don't want. Its a happy day!
